How Nigerian Troops Wasted Notorious Bandit Kingpin In The Forest

How Nigerian troops wasted notorious bandit kingpin in the forest has been revealed.

News ToGo learned that the operation was planned and carried out by gallant men of the Nigerian Army after trailing the target for some time.

Dogo Maikasuwa, a notorious bandit commander, was eliminated by Nigerian troops. The Kaduna State Government has authoritatively disclosed this development to the public. A statement issued on Friday in Kaduna by the Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan said: “The development was made known in an operational feedback from security agencies. A blurred photograph of the neutralized bandit leader is attached with this statement.”

The statement added: “Painstaking investigations revealed atrocities he carried out with impunity in hard-to-reach locations.”

It revealed that the notorious terrorist, Dogo Maikasuwa, also known as ‘Dogo Maimillion’ led a series of attacks and kidnappings of citizens plying the Kaduna-Kachia Road, and in communities within Chikun and Kajuru local government areas, describing him as one of the deadliest bandits leading other elements in terrorizing citizens of those general areas.

The statement explained that he was always dressed in green military fatigues and wielding an AK47 rifle and that such was his appearance during his fatal duel with security forces. “It was also gleaned that he led his bandits to engage in operations with cruelty, often killing kidnapped victims when ransoms were delayed or considered meagre,” the statement added.

The statement explained that in his final stand, the notorious bandit in the company of his foot soldiers ran into an ambush laid by operatives in a forest in the Gengere-Kaso general area, around the Chikun and Kajuru boundaries, stressing that the security forces after the fierce battle successfully neutralized the bandit leader and recovered one AK-47 rifle, one magazine, five rounds of ammunition, two motorcycles and one set of camouflage military fatigues.

The other bandits escaped with gun wounds, while one of them later died from injuries sustained in the fierce battle and his corpse was carried away by other fleeing elements, the statement affirmed.

The statement further said the Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir el-Rufai, received the feedback with gratitude and commended the personnel for their bravery in the fierce battle against the bandits. The images of the slain Dogo Maikasuwa are currently circulating online but this platform did not publish them because they are so gory.

JUST IN: TB Joshua's Emmanuel TV Channel Removed

YouTube has removed the primary channel associated with the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua—Emmanuel TV.

News ToGo reports that the channel, which broadcasts the religious activities of the church, was taken down following allegations against the late preacher. This action comes after the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) aired controversial documentary reports about allegations of torture and rape linked to TB Joshua.

The termination of Emmanuel TV’s channel on YouTube is a response to the platform’s policies against hate speech, cyberbullying, and harassment, particularly targeting survivors of sexual violence. The move follows openDemocracy’s report on more than 50 abusive videos amplifying attacks against Joshua’s accusers.

The documentary by BBC World Service, in collaboration with openDemocracy, featured whistleblowers who made on-the-record allegations of sexual and psychological torture, financial fraud, and criminal negligence by Joshua. In a disturbing backlash, YouTube accounts promoting SCOAN shared archival video footage depicting experiences of these abuse survivors, leading to the termination of Emmanuel TV’s channel.
