Steven Ukpabi: The Real Estate Mogul Who Decided To Light Up And Shower His Community With Goodies Amid Reactions

Steven Ukpabi: This is the Real Estate Mogul who has decided to light up and shower his community with goodies amid reactions from people.

News ToGo gathered that the Real Estate Mogul and Philanthropist, Steven Ukpabi, popularly known as Attila General left many people surprised today when he made his plans public on Thursday August 25, 2022 that he would commence the lighting up of his community, Nkpakpi Ututu in Arochukwu LGA of Abia State, in the South East part of Nigeria by installing free solar lights on the streets among other things.

Steven Ukpabi made this disclosure on his Facebook handle that he would roll out a non-governmental finance project of installing 100 poles of solar street lights, drill boreholes, and 10 tanks of water supply for his community. The post has generated many comments, likes and others engagements from different people. He further stated that he believes that this gesture would go a long way in developing his community. These projects financed by Ukpabi are aimed at meeting the needs of his people in these key areas.

Solar lights help to illuminate the community, help the people find their way at night as well as aid security as criminal elements prefer to operate in dark places at night. On the other hand, water is a very important necessity that people cannot do without on daily basis. Not having clean and portable water simply makes life so miserable as the people in such community suffer water scarcity and other related diseases when they resort to drinking and using contaminated water.

In view of the above, it could be seen that Ukpabi’s philanthropic project was based on a good understanding of the needs of his people in his community. As he stated, these projects will help in his community’s development even as they would make life better for his people. He may not be the richest person, but his desire to give to his fellow humans cannot be over-emphasized even when he is not holding any political post.

No wonder, after Ukpabi dropped the post, people took out time to appreciate him for his kind gestures. Many of them prayed for him and wished him well. Check some reaction below:

JUST IN: TB Joshua's Emmanuel TV Channel Removed

YouTube has removed the primary channel associated with the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua—Emmanuel TV.

News ToGo reports that the channel, which broadcasts the religious activities of the church, was taken down following allegations against the late preacher. This action comes after the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) aired controversial documentary reports about allegations of torture and rape linked to TB Joshua.

The termination of Emmanuel TV’s channel on YouTube is a response to the platform’s policies against hate speech, cyberbullying, and harassment, particularly targeting survivors of sexual violence. The move follows openDemocracy’s report on more than 50 abusive videos amplifying attacks against Joshua’s accusers.

The documentary by BBC World Service, in collaboration with openDemocracy, featured whistleblowers who made on-the-record allegations of sexual and psychological torture, financial fraud, and criminal negligence by Joshua. In a disturbing backlash, YouTube accounts promoting SCOAN shared archival video footage depicting experiences of these abuse survivors, leading to the termination of Emmanuel TV’s channel.
